There is something to be said for the nostalgia of this drive-in. It can be a fun and affordable time for the whole family. There are always several features to choose from. But there are also some things that detract from the experienc such as the fact that the lot is not sloped enough so that when you are in something other than aan SUV or Van and you are foced to park behind such a vehicle the view of the screen can be blocked to a great degree. there is also the feeling of being packed in like sardines. Also it might be a good Idea to allow people to bring their pets as long as they are kept inside the vehicles or at least post some signs at the entrance. For those who do have pets and want to bring them forget about it at this time. However, there is a theater not far from the Dependable which is not as well known and offers just 2 features. It is the Kane road drive-in in Hopewell Twp. the lot is steep enough to afford good viewing it has a decent snackbar and they allow pets. The Kane road may be a viable alternative.
